” We had a fabulous time at Casa Nino. Will definately come again! ”

“Thank you Ian and Claire for our stay. The house had everything we could want, the location was perfect and the weather lovely. Thanks again.”

“A fantastic villa in a beautiful part of Italy. Claire the owner made sure everything was arranged well in advance and this was backed up with great support on the ground. The villa itself is well laid out with good sized rooms and two stunning bathrooms. Outside is well set up with a fantastic covered patio, garden space and BBQ. Do bring your mosi repellent though – they breed them tough in Salento!
The surrounding area is stunning with fantastic beaches on either the east or west coast with some of the most clear water I’ve seen in the med. I particularly recommend baia verde near to Gallipoli. Lots of great towns to visit and there are all sorts of festivals going on which really add to the charm and spectacle. We went to the most amazing festival of light in nearby Scarano which was simply mind blowing. As the garden of Italy the area is well catered for in terms of produce and restaurants. You won’t be disappointed. A great highlight was the Enoteca in the town – stunning local wine for less than 1.5 euros a bottle and the best olive oil for around 4 euros! When coupled with the amazing gelateria (Italians really do know what they’re doing when it comes to ice cream!) you’re well covered.
It can get hot so you may want to consider which time of year best suits your preferences during the summer months.
Claire can arrange cooking lessons with a local cook which were great fun and highly recommended.
A lovely villa in a wonderful area.”

” Beautiful location. All facilities we needed were there and we even managed an Italian cookery lesson organised by Claire. All in all a very memorable holiday. 5 star!”

” We were pleasantly surprised by Salento and Casa Nino.  This was our first visit and we managed to see so much. Vineyard tour, cookery lesson, a magical cruise and beaches to rival the best in the world. The villa is well equipped down to mosquito nets and ceiling fans which are a must in summer.  We hope to come back and visit again”

“When planning this holiday, my wife and I were considering many options – from hotels to beach resorts, but in the end we decided on this lovely home in Italy. We were so pleased to find everything we needed. We took our two kids and never had to worry about them. The beautiful vineyard and veggie garden provided for long hours of fun for the kids while my wife and I enjoyed time in the outdoor kitchen and on the terrace.

In terms of the description and facilities, the owner is spot on. We were lucky enough to use some of the vegetables in the garden for cooking and this home offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Everything was very clean (first thing my dear wife looked at, of course). Our favorite was taking scenic drives to the coast and through the surrounds. We stumbled this lovely restaurant called La Stanzie which is on the road to Supersano – BEST Italian cooking I’ve had!

Thanks to the owners who made our stay a very pleasant one!! We will most certainly be back.”

” The house has been extremely well refurnished. Bathrooms are of top quality and kitchen very well equipped. The terrace is has beautiful views and is lovely to enjoy a drink on in the evening. Would definately recommend.”

“Great spot. Huge outdoor covered terrace, superb big built-in barbeque. Tucked well away from the nearest road so very quiet, but with lovely country all round and super views from the roof terrace. So good to be surrounded by your own vinyard and fruit and olive trees.
House very well renovated with all you could need.
Cutrofiano is very close; a sweet little town with good markets (supermarkets and street markets) and good wine shops selling the local Primitivo wines – very drinkable !
Highly recommended.”
