September has arrived in Salento!
Casa Nino has been full with guests since June and had a very busy summer season. We hope you have all enjoyed your time in Salento and at our villa and will be visiting again! Thank you all for your lovely comments on our websites as well……so nice to have great feedback.
With the end of the summer bring the Grape Harvest time! Every year, typically from 15 – 30th September the countryside is buzzing with locals harvesting their grapes. At Casa Nino it is no different. We have a working vineyard which every year produces between 350 -400 litres of wine. We make a local wine blend of Primitivo and Negromaro and follow the traditional methods of harvesting and taking to the press in Cutrofiano.
